Thank you for the prompt answer to my complaints on the last version. The functions are even better now. The overview of what has already been read is very useful, as I dont manage it every day to stay tuned. Thank you for having created this app at all! The examples what GODs word means in everyday live are very encouraging and often make me think about my own thinking and behaviour, even if I only pick out just some of the readings of which the headlines catch my eye. Thanks again for this great app.

This is a perfect daily devotional type program. I love this app. I have been using it for 3 weeks now and i love how it has A psalm or proverb section and then commentary regarding that section and then new testament, then commentary, then old testament, then commentary, then prayer, then the "Pippa Adds" section with a little bit of humour. Perfect for anyone 12-112

Ive used this app for almost 2 years now and love it. Its how Ive finally been able to diligently stick at reading through the whole Bible in a year and Ive learnt so much through the commentaries also. Thank you so much, Nicky and Pippa Gumbel!

Nicky uses "The Message" for most of his commentaries. Would it be possible to have the choice to use other versions beyond the NIV. Other than that, the app is great. Nice to wake up to something like this every morning to start the day.

I just installed around end of year 2012, it was great to stay in daily devotion. However, it just gives me blank TOC and unable to touch link icons for the daily icons.

I love this! Its beautiful devotional messages and format are perfect for everyday reading. However, I would recommend adding a notifications update that sends reminders to you once a day to help you remember to read. Overall, this is a great app, and Id recommend it to everyone.

This is the best app ever and the best bible guide out there. The style is simple yet perfect. I have been wanting to read the bible for so long, but hate reading something I do not understand. The commentaries to the readings are so inspirational, yet also educational. I understand the history of the bible more than I ever did from just hearing it in church. The way you tie all three readings together into one topic of the day is amazing. This app is perfect for any religion...it just stresses the goodness of Christ. I LOVE IT and THANK YOU.

I use this app daily. God bless you both. However since the update the date has been out of sync.

The content is great, his insight into scripture and commentary are great and help me grow in my faith. But I will say...the aesthetics of the app looked better before the update. The update changed circles to squares and overall made it have a harsher look in my opinion.

Why not A+ ?? The "Bible" app by LifeChurch.tv has the wonderful ability to use a number of different versions (not just NIV), But also has the ability to show reverse video. This means white letters on a completely black background. This is a very low power operating mode for a display system, and as a result, the display does not time out to whatever your default timeout setting is in your iPhone. Also, the font sizes are adjustable. So, depending on your eyesight, you can show more text, or much larger letter sizes. For these old eyes, that is a distinct advantage. Im looking forward to my experiences with your app starting January 1. Thank you for your efforts. I look forward to future enhancements. FWIIW, I use a iPhone 6+.

I have read this everyday for two years now and I am about to start my third year. It is an uplifting start to my day. The commentator does a fantastic job of connecting current events with the Old and New Testament. I am so glad I found this app. Thank you!

This is my first year reading through the Bible, and I am on day 5 with the app. I havent had the greatest experience with commentaries, so I usually prefer to just read the word. But. I have been blown away so far. The commentary is extremely thoughtful, and is adding so much to my daily time with God. Love having the content readily accessible on my phone - great format as I dont need to carry around extra books and can dig in anywhere. A huge thank you to the Gumbels and the developers who made this app. Im absolutely loving it and am so excited to continue reading throughout the year!
